CWU National Poetry Day Event – 7th October 2021
October 4 2021Thursday 7th October marks National Poetry Day. This year the CWU are hosting a number of events for all CWU members to take part in and enjoy.

Between 5-7pm will we be joined by the Artist “Potent Whisper” a London based rapper, Spoken Word artist and community organiser who will be running an on-line workshop for interested CWU members, CWU artists and CWU poetry enthusiasts.

At 7pm the CWU will be premiering a performance showcase by the CWU Poetry Club. This will be available via our social media links and websites for you to watch live or watch back at a later date.
We have also published a collection of poems by CWU members which is available to download for free here – although, we encourage a donation to CWUHA of you can.
Finally, the CWU Poetry Club meets every Thursday on Zoom. All CWU members are welcome to join. No experience is necessary. Please contact Paul Dovey if you are interested at pdovey@cwu.org and join up today!
